LG G6 vs Samsung Galaxy S8: Phone Specs Comparison
LG has already shot out the news and the specs of its new smart phone in the market with the name of G6. And Samsung is about to enter the market again with its new handset soon in March with the name Galaxy S8. The competition between the handsets will be something to check and see.

Design: both the handsets will be of premium build having iris scanner and fingerprint sensor in the rear. The metal body and glass front and rear handsets will be retaining the 3.5 mm head jack and the water proofing IP68 certification. Although these are something new getting offered from LG. The colour options are also different in both the handsets. The LG G6 comes with the colour options of purple, black, silver and blue whereas Galaxy S8 comes with the option of black, silver and white. If we go through the dimensions, LG G6 is having 5.86 x 2.83 x 0.31 inches when compared to the Galaxy S8, which will be having 5.5 x 2.8 x 0.29 inches dimensions.
Display: Going on with the rumours on the Galaxy S8, the display size will be of 5.8 inches, super AMOLED type with the 4K resolution. If we go through the specs of LG G6, it is having 5.7 inches LCD display with HD plus resolution of 564 ppi.
Camera: mostly the features are same in both the handsets. LG G6 comes with 13 MP dual lenses whereas Galaxy S8 will be having 12 MP single lens camera. Also the front camera has the difference, where LG G6 comes with 5 MP and Galaxy S8 will be having 8 or 9 MP camera.
Hardware and battery: there is the difference between the two. If we talk about hardware LG G6 is having Qualcomm SD8 21 chip whereas Galaxy S8 will be picking up SD835. The capacity of the battery in the LG G6 is 3300 mAh whereas galaxy S8 will be having 3000 mAh. The system memory is same in both the handsets- 4 GB. The difference is in the internal storage option- LG G6 having 32 GB whereas Galaxy S8 will be having 64 GB/ 128 GB.
From the above points the differences are very clear between both the handsets. The important thing to see here is that LG has worked a lot on LG G6 in making it a different handset from its predecessor. Whereas with Samsung Galaxy S8 most of the specs are still not out and it is very difficult to understand that which will be better. But if we compare the handsets with the changes from their own predecessors, Galaxy S8 is not having more changes in comparison to that o LG G6. No wonder sooner the markets started showcasing LG G6, there will be many buyers in the queue to purchase the same phone.
